Since I started knitting I've occasionally dabbled in crochet mostly for slip stitch edging or seams. Attempting anything more complicated has flummoxed me completely and I've never been able to get my head around the the fabric or stitch construction.
But look - a tiny little bit of successful treble crochet with increases and decreases to create a ripple.
I am so impressed with myself

You should definitely be proud of yourself -- lovely!
I should probably warn you that once crochet clicks it is every bit as addictive as knitting. And it's generally faster too....
I intend to knit some of your design... English is not my mothertoungue, so it would be convinient for me to translate the pattern before starting knitting ... would you like to receive my translations and use them as you like (FOR FREE of course)
expecting your agreement

I fairly recently learnt to crochet then more recently learnt to knit, I can remember my absolute joy at my first ripple blanket - the increases and decreases just flew of the hook - wonderful!
